1) Please turn off your caps lock key... it is the online equivelent
of shouting.

2) My guess would be that your software is not set to the right port
address. Open an MSDOS prompt, run 'debug' (probably in the windows
directory) and type the following commands (all begin with the letter
O, everything else is a number or letter from A-F ie, hexadecimal
notation)

o378 ff
o378 00
o278 ff
o278 00
o3bc ff
o3bc 00

One (or two) of those will hopefully make the stepper jump a little bit.
When you find the address (the first number) that works then put that into
the software.

I would also point out that this motor and driver are far too weak for
most machine tool uses, but getting them working will be a good
learning experience.
