It's ALIVE!!!!!

Thanks All,

I did the heart transplant tonight from AHHA to EMC. EMC moves all the
axes I'm using. That's X, Y, and Z. I plan to add another axis some
day butttt.... not immediately.

This was just a quick try to see if things went well. I now have some
tweaking to do and need some help. Some of this is not intuitive for
me. Some of this is...

I have a few questions... BTW, I'm using stepper motors with Slo-Syn
drivers. I have clock and direction input and they seem to work very
well. They are PWM drivers.

1. Where do I change the polarity for the direction the axis moves? Z
moves the wrong direction...

2. Where do I set the maximum speed? Z axis stalls and quivers with a
G00 move...

3. Where do I set the steps per inch? None of the axes are set right
yet...

4. Where do I set the jog speed? The whole thing jogs way too slow
for my impatient nature. AHHA has a slow jog and a fast jog depending
upon whether the shift key is pressed with the direction key. Does EMC
have this or something similar?

5. Any good advise for a newby at this point in the learning curve?
Is there a program somewhere to help do all this easily?

Thanks in advance for the help and I'm grateful for the past help from
this list which got me to this point!!!

Thanks,

Clint Bach
