hello;
actually, i had help early last year and than again
starting in august of last year. one person got married and
she now has other priorities. another person's mother was diagnosed
with breast cancer and he has other priorities. i was laid up
nearly two months with yet another surgery in sept of last year.
the arms have been acting up so there are periods were i just
have to stay away from typing and the computers. setting to long
at the keyboard just causes way to many problems.
several people came and went when things did not go their way.
they wanted it to be a modeler and output raytracing models.
i kept trying to explain to them that that was not what the project
was about. i got tired of explain cad/cam over and over again.
several just did not want to follow the coding standards.
i got tired of reformatting code.
i find the politics and factions take more time than they are
worth. fighting off feature creep was a major headache.
the gnu cad/cam project is also an spare time project. i have several
projects going on which are partially funded. those have priority
at the moment.
i get e-mails about every other day from people who want to help.
when i send them my project statement and guidelines they do not
answer.
it would be nice to have a couple helpers but until then i keep
plugging along at it.
