Any dumpster grade Pentium PC will do - Just avoid the ones with onboard
graphics if you want to install the current BDI version.


Linux (well XFree86 to be exact) has amassive list of supported video boards.
If you want to use the latest i810/815 or similar, some messing around would
be needed to install the latest version of XFree86.
Once you start talking network drivers - Over 300 linux drivers available
according to a Microsoft report.
USB and Firewire is not really useable with the BDI 2.xx, BUT you do get all
the network & video drivers and EMC is thrown in.

If you can make it to NAMES, we will show how to install and run EMC.
