Jon (Marris please confirm),

I thought the Gecko 320's took step/direction input and had servo output
(with feedback)... meaning the driver controls the correction???

Unless you don't consider Gecko's for hobby use?

I believe all systems I've seen use the computer to detect
the difference. I don't know of any stepper driver in the hobby
class that takes encoder inputs.
