Hi Matt,
You could also try TurboCad Pro v6.0 or greater as it has a good
trace function built into it. You can find it under the "FILE" menu
about 3 commands down. I found this only after I purchased Scan2Cad
which is also a very good program but TurboCad is half the price and
you get a very good Cad prog thrown in. I think it is up to version
8.0 now so you could probably find a free magazine disc with a copy
of v6.0 on it. I have several copies but ended up purchasing mine
for $80 about 6 months ago to get the manual. They both seem about
the same quality. As with all types of these programs you will also
have to do some cleanup work on them and this is where the Cad prog
comes into its own. Or you could search the net as there are a
plethora of these progs around. I am still in the process of
learning to use my first home built router and have purchased a heap
of programs that I will probably never use. TurboCad, Master5 and
DeskProto lite are top on my list with my new found Gecko drives
(thanx Mariss). My next purchase will be Rhino3D. Do yourself a
favour and download the trial version as it is truely wonderful and
it gives you 25 saves so you can actually try it out before buying.
It's VERY easy to use and powerful.
Hope this helps.
