Are you connecting the disable pin to pin 12?

I read something about connecting the disable to pin 12 through your disable
switch.

I have been trying to get the disable function to work on my drives for a
few days now. The documentation says that grounding the disable pin removes
power from the drive. In practice it is not working for me. I can ground pin
7 on any of my gecko drives and they will still turn the attaced steppers.
