What drivers and motors are you using? I found that the large motors (like
those on the Boss 5) tend to have significantly more resonance problems with
bipolar chopper drivers than with the old L/R saturable reactor amplifiers.
I had to use microstepping amplifiers at 5 substeps minimum to get rid of
the resonance. The chopper drivers output a very harsh pulse which leads to
noisy movement.
