is it just a 25-pin D-type plug? Do you have any documentation
on the communications protocol? I don't know of ANY CNC
software on PCs that talks to stepper drives with RS-232
commands. There are a few drives that do work this way, and
their manufacturers have (generally) proprietary programs to
run their own specific drives.
