Where to start?

Hi,

I am a new member. I am from a conventional machining
background, presently working in computer programming
field. Machining being my first love, I want to pursue
CNC programming in my leisure time. For obvious
reasons, I can not join Full time courses and the only
way out is the web, to which I have unlimited access.
I would like to get advise from you guys where to
start and other resources on the web. Please guide me.
