I would say to start with the group FAQ at
http://www.ktmarketing.com/faq.html There is a link towards the bottom that
will give you a huge resource list of links. My biggest suggestions is don't
get analysis paralysis. Buy yourself a motor, a drive, and a power supply
for it, hook it to a computer and start understanding how this stuff
actually works. If you are in economy mode there are driver kits out there
that would let you start experimenting for under $100. The only thing you
have to make sure of is that the drive takes step and direction inputs and
then it will run with all the popular controller software.
