I have an older Bridgeport thextron 1810122 DRO head unit that
appears to be in good working condition. The rear has 6 pin military
type connectors on it for the scales. Does anyone know the pinouts of
these?
I have some gurley/teledyne linear scales (8780,8770) that I would
like to use with it. THey have plastic connectors that are using 7
pins. I assume the bridgeport uses the metal housing as the shield. I
need to figure out how to connect the 2. I found out from gurley that
the scales use:
Pin 1 + 5VDC Red
Pin 3 + 8VDC Blue
Pin 5 Sine output Green
Pin 6 Cosine Output Yellow
Pin 10 Reference Zero White
Pin 12 Ground Black
Pin 14 Shield
Thanks
