Ok, this is going to show how "green" I am, because even though I have
heard of those terms, not sure what they mean..... I am using a Yamaha
linear SXY series, within it's case, there is a THK type slide, and a
ballscrew. It is very efficient, and moves very easy, and the pitch is quit
quick, 8mm per turn. So I thought I kill two birds with one stone, and use
a gear head motor system to let the motor move faster, yet more powerful,
and adding resistance to the Yamaha.
Your right, if the gear head has backlash, then it will not work, this is an
unknown..... any suggestion and ideas?????
Thanks,
RC
