I have started a Yahoo group called Writing CNC Controls. It can be

Anyone currently writing CNC control software; or considering doing
so, is invited to join. All programming languages are welcome; as are
all types of numerical controls.

P.S. Book 5 of my "getting into Motion" series is about writing CNC
controls... It is due out in about 3 months. I had planned to wait
until then to start this group. Mikes' message seemed to show the
need was current.
