I also use Dolphin and find it to be very easy.
For a start it has an unclutted screen. You don't have to draw any
offset paths the program does it all for you. Same for the lead in
and lead out, all done automatically.
It's biggest feature though is the edit feature. You process the file
as you want to cut it and then generate the G code when you are happy
with it.
