I have a Grizzly mill/drill model G1006. I have my ball screws and
need to figure out my drives.
I'm still trying to find low cost servos. Do they exist? I've
looked on ebay for weeks now. I can't find 3 the same and I'm not
actually certain I know what to buy. As far as rpm and oz/in...
What has everyone else used? Am I wasting my time looking?
Should I or can I use steppers? What are the drawbacks?
What kind of table forces and feed rates have you guys gotten in a
machine this size? What should I be trying to get?
