Hi,
What everyone seems to forget, (which is hard to believe when you look at
the number of companies that disappear overnight) that when the company is
gone, you're kind of screwed. Yeah OK, you might have a key disk for a while
but when that gets trashed, then what. These software packages are expensive
enough that they should allow the user "Fair Use". Nifty little key
diskettes, that have some special un-backupable protection ploy reminds me
too much of the Commodore-64 days. Why not trash the drive too like the old
Commodore 1541 drive protection schemes used to, i.e. machine-gun/seek the
head to pieces) "you bad old customers don't deserve to be trusted!"
