True it's a special disk but if it's yours and you own the

phone call or email and they can get the software to regenerate a new
one.
Bobcad has a Bios / OS / method of generating it's number. It's only
good for the one computer and if you reinstall windows you need a new
number. They aren't all that quick either in getting back to you.
I was left without a working copy for nearly two weeks once.
