This is very true. I belive the system is handled by a product called
Copy Control which makes it very hard to crack.
True it's a special disk but if it's yours and you own the
registration what's the problem?
With all the people I have had dealings with who have bought the
program I have told them to ask for two tokens, one for work and one
for home. Without exception they have been given two with no charge.
If you are unlucky enough to loose one by HD failure etc then a quick
phone call or email and they can get the software to regenerate a new
one.
Bobcad has a Bios / OS / method of generating it's number. It's only
good for the one computer and if you reinstall windows you need a new
number. They aren't all that quick either in getting back to you.
I was left without a working copy for nearly two weeks once.
