I will echo Fred's comments. I had a rudimentary skill level in DesignCAD
when I first got Vector that came from using DesignCAD for a number of
years. At first Vector seemed hard to use as I wanted it to work like
DesignCAD. Once I was willing to forget how I used to do it and just go
through the Vector manual I was able to very rapidly accomplish more in
Vector then I was ever able to in DesignCAD. So just like Fred said, if you
have no knowledge of CAD programs you will learn Vector very fast as it is
intuitive from a Windows type perspective. If you already have a level of
skill with a "traditional" CAD program you will have a harder time until you
are willing to just forget how you used to do it. Now that I have converted
to the Vector method there is no going back to the "traditional" ACad
methods.
