Hi Arne,

Yes, you can transfer the films to Video tape, or even CDROM. DVD is still out of the reach of most hobbyists. There are devices
which allow you to play your movie on a projector which you direct at a mirror which shines the image onto the back of a screen.
The image projects through to the front of the screen, and you train your video camera at that. You can go to tape, or to computer
video from there. The rear screen viewer sells for $50 over here, usually its terribly constructed.

A lot of photo shops offer a service where they will transfer for you, and they have usually much better equipment.
