I saw the PMDX-120 at NAMES and ordered a couple. I think this is a
great board. Sure, you can hook up all those isolators and drivers, and
relays and find a power supply, etc. But this board simply needs a few
wires under screw terminals and EVERYTHING is ready.
To my view this is the final piece that makes it possible for any home
shop guy, with no electronics experience, to put together a machine.
With 3 Geckos and a screwdriver the whole controller can be done in
short order.
It also leaves me very confortable using a laptop because it should be
nearly impossible to damage the laptop with this board in place.
