it's not the mouse, it is how much time is left over for the non-real time
stuff (x-windows, Linux, the EMC GUI, etc.) You need to reduce the
real-time load on the system, unless motor performance is so
marginal that you can't allow it to get any worse. If using freqmod,
change the PERIOD parameter in the .ini file to a larger value (slowing
down the RT section). If using steppermod, then the CYCLE_TIME
parameter in each axis section should be made larger.
