Nic, Mariss & Dave,

Thanks for the replies. I'm not interested in using fans so thats
out. Mariss asked whether I wanted to light an LED or discharge the
CAP quickly. I guess my answer is both unless this is in someway not
a good thing to do. My controller case has a couple of extra LEDs on
the front panel so I thought I would put one to use. I don't plan on
spending hours watching it get dimmer but just as an indicator that
the CAP is bleeding down. By Mariss's explanation at the third time
constant the CAP will be at 5% or 2.5v Now by Daves explanation the
LED needs 1.7 v to light. Sooo will the LED glow dimmly for some time
after the third time constant?
