Hi Filipe,

I bought a similar package from Dan. Irrespective whether your in
Europe or the States we are all talking similar distances, not that I
have ever heard any prolbems with Dan or anybody else on the group,
in fact everybody is extremely helpful, the only additional problem
you could have is your own customs/excise people.

With regards Dan's package, it depends on what your background is,
personally I would have prefered a circuit diagram rather than a list
of 'connect a 16 gauge black wire from zzz to the yyy terminal on ...
etc' but if you don't have a background in electronics I guess that
is the best way. Both would be better.

Again as a personal preference I do not like the supplied Molex type
connectors and have subsequently replaced the motor connectors with
screw type blocks and the encoder connections with gold plated DB9
plugs and sockets Add 1000uF caps directly across the Gecko power
inputs.

G320s and G330s are step and direction controllers and as such
emulate the action of a stepper. I have tried several of the software
packages and am very happy with Master5, free trial - $100 if you buy
it, by all the indications its proposed replacement Mach1 will be
even better. Go to Art's web site and do the compatability test with
your computer.

Good luck with the project.
