RE: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Need a program to download files from Lathe

I just picked up a dyna 3000 cnc lathe a few weeks ago that was in
pristine condition except that the spindle control board was fried. It
too has a tool changer turret though it is only 6 positions. I really
don't think you will find a program (a low cost one that is) that will
operate the turret.
The dyna 3000 uses a conversation language to run the machine. I started
to look for a program that other than run the ZX axis also could thread
using an encoder that is mounted off the spindle. For the turret it is a
really simple design but would require a program that was made for your
machine because of the tool identification and the logic to unlock,
rotate, lock at different ordered positions.
