Hi Brian,
Check out the Home-brew PCB list, also on Yahoo.
Eagle has a "user driver" that will generate Gcode! Layout a board in
Eagle, generate Gcode, and go at it!
Gerber to Gcode products are available, and new ones are coming out!
I've been able to do a little Gerber to Gcode conversion with code I've
written (mostly for my own edification).
