Limit Switches for Gecko 320

Hi all,
Using EMC with Gecko 320 drives and servos, what would you recommend for the
limit switch setup? I remember some previous post mentioning that a Gecko
320 can fail in a mode which will cause it to run away regardless of
controller input. This will render the normal EMC-xyz limit feedback useless
and therefore calls for an e-stop type of limit switch setup. Any thoughts
on this? What would be the best way to achieve such a setup?
My apologies for digging this up again, but trying to search the archives is
driving me nuts with frustation.
Regards,
Deon Styger.
