Q? about Sterling Digital Readout

Greeting to All,

I am looking for an inexpensive digital readout system to fit to my
Rockwell 21-100 mill. One brand that I've come across is the
Sterling Model MF.2696 1430, which is a 14x30" 2-axis system.

The Rockwell mill has a small 24" table with 16 x 6 1/2 inches of
travel. Does anyone know if the Sterling scales can be shortened to
fit smaller machines?
