Sherline mill z-axis motor

I am not a machinist. I don't even play one on T.V.
I am just a humble engineer that enjoys making chips.
I have a Sherline 2000 mill with a DRO and it seems
that I spend half of my machining time turning the
z-axis handle to get the cutting tool out of the way
or get it back down again.
Is there an easily adaptable motor that I could
mount on the Z-axis to do the work for me? It doesn't
need to have feedback; I'm just looking for a faster
and easier way to move the cutter up and down.
Any help would be appreciated!!--Marc
