Dolphin CADCAM offers engraving in both True Type
and Centre Line fonts, for Centre Line fonts there is
a tool available for Font Creation.

My first post.

I am trying to learn about engraving on a mill. I have a homebrew
Bridgeport series 2 with steppers and use Vector CAD. My question
is, what tool or tools are required to engrave lettering on aluminum
at 12 pt. or 14pt. I want to do some lettering on panels and cannot
find a tool small enough to make nice lettering this small. I tried
the "scratch" method with a point but that is not satisfactory.

I also am looking for more fonts that are acceptable for engraving
that are not TruType and have only lines not outlines of lettering.
BodCad cam with their own and it works but is block and not eye
pleasing.
