Curious steps/turn number, but I guess that's possible!

I would counsel that you do NOT use timing-belts, but connect the
stepper-motor shafts "directly" to the ends of the lead-screws with
backlash-free shaft-couplers which can "tolerate" slight axial and angular
misalignment. OR, if you are very, very skilled, just a simple clamp-on
shaft-coupler, if all your machining is perfectly square and accurate. Of
course, the use of the timing belts would "permit" some quite sloppy work,
but the "play" that will introduce will give you fits from the outset!
