This is software specifically designed to do what you want. I have not used
it, but have heard good results from people that have.
BTW, Gecko G201 drives are major overkill for this purpose. If you go to
www.HobbyCNC.com they have a package with unipolar drivers and appropriate
motors for $150 that is designed to work with the above software. You could
sell the Geckos and get this kit and the software and still pocket $100 -
$200. Not that you need to as the Geckos will work just fine, but it is a
lot of drive for your needs.
