Scale for Anilam DRO

I just acquired a 9x42 Bridgeport with an Anilam Micro
Wizard DRO. Unfortunately the X axis scale is missing.
A new scale is ~$500 in the MSC catalog. I'm seeing
entire systems selling used on Ebay for this much.
Anyone know of a good source for spare parts? Also,
are the outputs from the reader heads standard
quadrature or something else. I.E. can I connect a
Sony or Mitutoyo scale to the Anilam readout? I
suspect not.
