I used the 1000 fluid, San, because it has Teflon for lower friction
in addition to the graphite and moly additives, and (on paper at
least) seems to have a little better properties in general. It should
be pretty good for sliding ways too. I'll have some of my own results
in a few days. I'm reassembling my mill this weekend.

The Moglice manual (which you can download as a PDF from
http://www.moglice.com or ask them to mail you a printed copy) goes
into all the aspects of doing slide ways with Moglice as well as
leadscrew nuts. It talks about preparation, fixturing, casting,
trimming etc. and is a very good resource in the planning stages of
your project.
