Booting directly into EMC is both feasable and not very hard...you just need a bit of understanding of sysV init stuff to do
it...on RedHat, the scripts are in /etc/rc.d.....I don't have time to flesh it out now (gotta run!)...but if you have any
specific questions, I'll try to answer them...also look in /etc/inittab for init level configs...remember....BACK UP before
editing files.....
