had a look at your cube picture.i have made a few of these myself.i make mine on a manual lathe,and are made so that each cube will rotate freely inside each other.yours seem to be joined at the corners.another i have made is a threaded nut inside a cube that is also free to rotate.i would be keen to hear of any other similar puzzles.
