Ideas needed for SeriesII Bib,chip, pan (was Re: Src fr Wy Cvr mtrl)

One thing I've found to work well is the heavy stair treading
material you can get at hardware stores. For a bench lathe, a stair
tread is about the perfect size for a way cover.

Probably enough there for a bridgeport-type Y axis as well,
depending on the size of the machine.
