Interesting. I've had these definitions wrong.
I've assumed that the control software for my hexapod was 2.5D, but by
these definitions is it already 3D.
What is coordinated control of X,Y,Z, Pitch and Roll called? 5D? 5 dof?
My hexapod coordinates motion all 6 axes of motion, but my toolpath
generation software is limited to XYZ only.
