I've got something that is a bit cheaper for up to 4 axes, and gives you opto-isolated
inputs and place to mount the SSRs for the output, saving the price of an Opto-22
mounting board. it works on the parallel port, so it is less obsolete than the
ISA bus, at least. It has 16-bit DACs, and an emergency-stop circuit built in,
even with a watchdog timer on the DACs.
