After having been exposed to some of the $7000 and up Cad/Cam packages, I'd pick Signlab over the rest for Inlay work. You can draw the "hole" for the veneer and create both the pocket and the plug
with very few steps. Not only can you instantly adjust for a few thousandths "gap" between the two, but you can also choose to install a "glue tray" around the edge of the pocket, where the glue can
settle in because it cuts a little deeper on the outside pass.

You can call Cadlink http://www.cadlink.com/ for a price, or try Western Engravers http://www.visionengravers.com/html/visionpro.html for their private label version called Vision-Pro. Last I
heard Vision Pro was $2000 and gave you anything you'd ever need for a CNC Router.

Cadlink used to offer a version that limited you to 20"X30" for less money. Excellent for a small mill.

After I made public comments about how many Cad/Cam programs are actually "behind the curve" compared to this program, I received numerous E-mails indicating that those who use it have the same
feelings.
