Deskam in demo form looked to me as a pretty straight forward Cam package. I can't say anything was really left for a user to "Guess at", as all of the dialogs seemed to make sense.
It seemed to take quite a bit of time to process some stl toolpaths and in many cases the Demo froze on me doing so. Just never got too excited when a demo locks up if you know what I mean.

As I remember it did process 2d DXF files pretty good.

Can you relate your experiences on it locking up if you have had the problem ? What OS do you have it on. Do you know what their policy is in regards one user having it on two boxes like a laptop
and a desktop ?

Sometimes I need to make recomendations or point out available options. Usually, One must pick and choose based on how much they have to spend.

Always been curious about it,
