I had this problem with a device I built years ago, and have used the same
2 relay circuit several times since then. I don't have this circuit on my
web pages yet. I think I need to put it on the web pages for others, too,
so I will do that and post a message when it is available. Should be
there tonight.

To control it from TTL, you'd need a DC solid state relay (or opto-isolator).
