Mark,

You have it correct, the next step up from 620 VA. I get my transformers
from Plitron in Canada. www.plitron.com

I usually over rate my bridge rectifiers. I buy them at a local surplus
store. In your case, I would buy one rated at 100 volts and 25 amps.
