Hi, stellite, yep good stuff, some people were calling "Rexalloy" stellite
when it is actually Tan-Tung Tantalum Tungsten, most made by VR Wesson under
tantung 144....tantung is tuff and strong yet with a little care on a
grinding wheel they last for ever and can be run with the tip red hot and
not destroy the hardness, melting point is about 5000 deg f. cul brian f.
