Retrofitting Bridgeport CNC with Gecko drives

I have a Bridgeport CNC with a Boss 6 control that I want to retrofit
with gecko drives. I have other CNC equipment, but have not done any
retrofits. Is there a site that details what is involved, step-by-
step in a retrofit as far as what parts are required and how they
operate together? I am also thinking about going to servos for more
precise positioning. What is the general thought between stepper and
servo?
Thanks
