Alibre Design - an exciting new CAD software

Hello folks,

Something exciting I would like to share with you. I recently came
across Alibre Design, a relatively new CAD sofware on the horizon.
And from my first impressions, it is GREAT value for money. Not only
are most of the common functionalities available which any designer
or engineer needs to get around with his/her daily activities, there
are many new and sophisticated functionalities in the making in
future releases competent with other mid range CAD programs like
Solidworks, and Pro Engineer. Ive seen it all in my 14 year design
experience with the rise and fall of these small CAD companies, but
here is one heck of a sophisicated product for the price it is
available at ---- READ ON :-)


The price for a full working version is ONLY US $ 495. YES !!! I AM
NOT KIDDING !!! Can you believe that. I could never afford anything
more than a grand for the amount of design I usually do and I am
excited with finding Alibre Design satisfy most of my needs if not
all. I do find it limiting in that they do not support sheet metal
features, but i hear it is due to be introduced by Feb 2003.
