Now where would one find the correct smaller pulley and belts for the
motor?

My motors have a .312" diameter shaft.

The X/Y leadscrews have been converted to ballscrews, I used the 5/8"
(I think) leadscrews from McMaster-Carr.

One thing that does concern me is that I've noticed that now (might
have happened before the conversion) is that I am getting the bracket
where the X ballnut is mounted will flex a little while turning the
handle.
