Hi S,
I ran it for about two years before I switched to bigger, bipolar
steppers, and step/dir drive with Geckos.
It's a minimal, workable program. No frills. Not much of a manual!!
You could also consider TurboCNC, which is nearly free, or EMC. CNCpro
or Master 5 are other good choices.
I got mine with the "Motion control kit" (had motors and drive board).
My old MaxNC hardware will probably drive a PCB mill I've been
collecting parts to build.
