Do it yourself Controllers?

Hi,

Ugg, still trying to get all my info straight, Is there any stepper
controller designs that I may produce myself, I do quite a bit of
PBC/electronics experience. I've run across a few designs that seem a
bit basic and most were 3 axis (looking for 4).

I'll need to drive nema 23's or better
