HI Jeff:

Master5 ( or Mach1) do not know the difference between a Stepper or a Servo
if you use a Gecko G3xx controller. In fact, although untested and only
released this afternoon, the spindle control of Mach1 is step/dir signals
meant for a Gecko Servo controller. I'm hoping this would make a great
spindle for small machines. A G3xx driving a 1HP servo would seem a good way
to have a variable speed spindle on a small machine. Mach1 now controls it
from the S words. The idea original came from Doug on this list, I put it
into practice today, lets see if it really works.
